I would like to thank U.S.VETS for supporting LAUSD’s initiative to hire military veterans as classroom teachers. Your continued assistance in screening eligible veterans, testing and credentialing support, and hosting of hiring events has directly led to hiring over 50 veterans.

I would like to recognize and give my heartfelt thanks to the U.S.VETS team for the support and quick response in assisting our recently hired veterans. Because of the supportive services, collaboration with other veteran service organizations and the orchestrating of multiple meetings, hiring events, livescans, resume writing and coaching sessions, we were able to make six offer letters for Post 9-11 veterans. These veterans will start working with Allied Universal at the Northrop Grumman secured site in Palmdale.
